wowza

I know that it's almost February, but I got around to buying the January W Magazine this week. I must say, I am absolutely smitten with the "Run of Show" spread. It's a full twenty pages of blissfulness.

(Calvin Klein Collection, Chloe, Lanvin, Alberta Ferretti, Donna Karan, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger)

The two identical chiffon Chloe dresses on the left remind me almost of ghosts, because of the flow-yness and the different lengths of the fabrics. The part of fabric that comes over the bust in my favorite, just because it adds that extra detail.

After seeing this, I really want some neutral chiffon dresses.

(Viktor and Rolf, Miu Miu, Loewe, Nina Ricci, Piazza Sempione)

The Miu Miu dresses in the middle make me happy because they are sheer, but covered in those jewels. You see, I would wear these, but there would be several comments about how it would be "inappropriate for someone of my age group." Erg, people, how they bother me.

The Miu Miu shoes are also fantastic.

(Marc Jacobs, Blumarine and Roberto Cavalli, Jean Paul Gaultier, Christopher Kane, Stella McCartney, Moschino, Anna Sui, Bottega Veneta.)

The Marc Jacobs on the far left is magical, a) because of the print, b) because of the volume, c) because of the short length with the volume. J'adore.

I also find the Jean Paul Gaultier pink jumpsuit, the Stella McCartney (high waisted trousers and oversized blazer), and Moschino (next to the Stella) gorgeous, as I love the men's wear inspired clothing.

(Fendi, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Dior)

The two Ralph Lauren dresses, which are easily distinguishable, due to the obvious style of his clothes. The length is so unique, because really, I find that everything is always just so leggy. Not that leggy is a bad thing, it just gets old after awhile. I find these dresses interesting, because they are just as flattering, if not more than the leggy dresses. The hats also make my day.

(Roberto Cavalli, Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garcons, Jil Sander, Bally, Chanel)

I LOVE FLORALS!!!!!!!! Short and simple. I love oxfords almost as much. If I were to find some floral oxfords, the world would be in harmony. This is why I feel so lovingly towards both the dresses on the extreme left.

I also love both the outfits with the Hermes scarves on the girls' heads with the suits. It's so traveling/ business chic I can barely stand to look at it.

(Dolce & Gabbana, Erdem, Narciso Rodriguez, Phi, Versace and Versace Atelier, Akris, Prada)

I find myself in love with lace lately, and the Dolce & Gabbana and Erdem outfits are smashing. I love how they are see through lace, but so intricately done with floral patterns that it doesn't come off looking trashy. And God knows we would never want to look that way.
