That is me, this morning. I was going for a biker chick meets pirate type thing. This explains my leather jacket and skirt, print tights, and skull and crossbones sweater.
I happen to think that it went over well, but in the hallway at school, people kept giving me funny looks, like I had just sprouted three heads right before their very eyes! How scary a leather jacket must be? The horror! That's okay though, because I get that every day. My theory is that they have never experienced anything except for Abercrombie and Hollister, so they are rather naive to the wonderous world of clothing.
The sweater is Ralph Lauren Rugby, the skirt is Anne Klein, and the leather jacket is 5/48. I couldn't find the names for the boots or tights. I got everything except the jacket at my mom's consignment store, Bring n' Buy and Bring n' Buy Too, in my town, Ridgefield, CT. I get the employee discount for being her daughter, which actually costs nothing. The joy of having your mother own a store... I spent all my money on the leather jacket in a Saks last summer, but I can't bring myself to regret it.
The boots are a lifesaver, because they are waterproof, and therefore perfect for trekking up snowy hills to get to the bus stop every morning.
